Best Free Playgrounds In JBR Dubai
Here is our list of the best playgrounds and playparks in JBR, Dubai. JBR is a bustling waterfront community that offers many activities for families, especially those with young children. Shams Playground, Shams Plaza Level
My family believes this is the best free playground in JBR. It is located on Shams plaza level it's a bit hidden and not even listed on google maps (we provided a link direct to the co-ordinates). You can get there by going up the elevator in the Ramada hotel level P or the JA Ocean View hotel elevator to floor two and walking through the Offside bar terrace area to the back. This park has a cafe next to it so you can relax with a coffee. It has, without doubt, the best swings we have seen in Dubai, and plenty of them. Shams Playground is a great place to take your children if you can find it.
The Beach Playground, JBR Beech
The Beach Playground in JBR is a good but relatively busy playpark for children. It has beautiful views of the Ain Dubai wheel and the sea. It's the most scenic playpark in JBR, but your child may be queuing to use the swings or slide due to how busy it can get, especially in the evening. Overall, it is the most beautiful park and has a fair amount to do to keep your kids happy.
The Yellow Slide Park Playground, Amwaj Plaza Level
The Yellow Slide Park is a perfect park that our kids enjoy. This park is good as it's not too busy, but there are plenty of children for your kids to socialize with. It is not shaded, so it's only good when it's below 28c or at night. It's a bit hidden, but you can click our Google link. It is on the plaza level of Amwaj, or you can find it by looking for the building Amwaj 3.
Murjan Playground, Murjan Plaza Level
Located in Murjan on the plaza level, this playground is perfect and has a shop next to it for snacks and drinks. It boasts a side, seesaw, and swing and is spacious for kids to hurry about. Also, the surroundings are lovely and green, and it's a pleasant place to hang out.
Under The Bridge Playground, Marina Walk
Not precisely in JBR, but as it was so close, we thought it deserved a mention. It is on the Marina Walk, and on both sides of the bridge, a nifty little park nestled under the road bridge with lots of restaurants around to get refreshments on a hot day.
Emaar Kids Playground, Marina Walk
Located on Marina Walk behind the InterContinental Hotel. Not exactly JBR but a very short walk and its so good that we felt we had to include it in our list. It has shaded areas for the hot days and has a great view of the passing yauchts and grandeur of Dubai Marina. It is well worth the walk and has a coffee shop next to it as well.
